Welcome to the White Hart in Lower Horsebridge.
The White Hart is a family run pub restaurant with Tim, Les and
Bill manning the bar and kitchen along with their excellent
staff. The pub offers locals, visitors and business customers a
range of traditional, comfortable and affordable facilities, in a
friendly and welcoming environment.
Situated in the village of Lower Horsebridge, now part of
Hailsham, the derelict White Hart was purchased in September 2004
and underwent eight weeks of intensive resoration and building
work, it was finally ready to open the doors and trade on the 5th
November, the twenty eight seater restaurant became operational
in January 2005.
The pub is set in beautifully manicured gardens with extensive
facilities including BBQ area, hog roast and marquee station, in fact
many wedding and celebration parties have already taken advantage
of these amenities. It also boasts the best smokers shelter in
the county, a purpose built roundhouse with lights and heating
that incorporates roll-up sides to transform the shelter into sun
decking in the summer months.
